Mobile phone Apps

We have just uploaded iResus to all the phones in the field. It’s a very useful guide to resuscitation of adults and children.

We’d like your suggestions for other (FREE) apps you use in your daily worklife which would be helpful to the Clinical Officers.

I’m working on getting this onto the phones, but there are some technical difficulties uploading it though our management software. If you have access to the Play Store it can be downloaded for free.

These were my most used in South Africa:

Liverpool HIV iChart to check HIV drug interactions with medication and you can use it offline.

Paeds ED which has emergency and frequently used drug and fluid dosages for children based on age and weight and condition. Also can be used off-line.

Mersey Burns which help calculates burns size and fluid needed.
